Delta, Nintendo’s emulator makes its debut on the iPad
Delta, Nintendo’s hugely popular emulator originally available on the iPhone App Store and garnering many rave reviews, is now optimized for the iPad. This announcement was revealed by developer Riley Testut over the weekend on Threads.
An iPad version “nearing completion”
Testut informed that the iPad version is “close to completion.” This news has generated a lot of excitement among retro gaming enthusiasts. Subscribers to Testut’s Patreon page can now download the app through AltStore. It is an alternative platform created by the developer a few years ago for sideloading iOS and iPadOS applications.
Improvements in Perspective
In his post, Testut gave a little glimpse of how Delta works on iPad. The development team is focusing in particular on “refining controller skins and fixing the latest bugs.” It is also working on the functionality of multiplayer play between different devices.
SEGA Genesis Emulator: Coming Soon
For those nostalgic for the SEGA Genesis console, the developer has more good news. A version of the emulator is in the works. Although it is still in beta, it will be available soon, the developer promises. Therefore, fans of retro gaming on mobile devices will be spoilt for choice.
